StuInfo Gets a Facelift
StuInfo is MSU students' gateway to their academic and financial records. Launched in 1998, StuInfo was one of the first Web sites at MSU to offer students direct access to their own data. Now StuInfo has been given a facelift. A new login page was introduced this summer, and other improvements have been made recently:
- The site's new colors and style are consistent with MSU's home page,
- It now takes fewer clicks to get from login to menu
- Menu items are re-ordered to make things easier to find. Most things have been placed in alphabetical order on the menu. A few menu items have been renamed for clarity. "Class Schedule", a frequently used link, has been moved to the top of the menu.
- The site now works better with screen-readers for the visually impaired.
Students can check out the improvements at http://stuinfo.msu.edu.
Faculty and staff should note that some little-used functions have been removed, because the Office of the Registrar now offers improved functionality in their systems. (Those whose StuInfo access included only the removed functions have been informed by email.)
