Computer Store Open House on Feb 16 Celebrates New Location
If you’re going to the Computer Center to visit the MSU Computer Store, don’t head for the stairs or elevator. The Computer Store moved to a new permanent location, 110 Computer Center in December.
To celebrate, the store will host an open house on Wednesday, February 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Representatives from IBM, Dell, and Apple will be on hand to demonstrate their latest technologies.
The new location means greater convenience for customers. Store manager Ron Rivard says "Moving the store to our new first floor location will be a nice improvement for our customers. We are now much easier to locate when entering the Computer Center building, and we are closer to the parking lot for individuals picking up or dropping off computer equipment."
Customer service representative Betty Walther remarked: “We have new ease and accessibility for customers. Our store has wider spaces for shopping, and all of our services are now centrally located.”
The Store features desktop and laptop computers from Apple, Dell, Gateway, and IBM. The Store also offers software from major vendors such as Adobe, Macromedia, Microsoft, McAfee, and Symantec – often with steep academic discounts. You can also find accessories such as laptop carrying cases.
If you can’t make it to the Open House, please stop by at your earliest convenience. Regular store hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Or visit online at http://cstore.msu.edu/
